Great location; well-equipped London flat
Our family of four spent a happy week in this conveniently located flat. We were within walking distance of many London attractions and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Greg is a great host, greeting us warmly when we arrived and explaining the British appliances to these Americans. Renting a flat is definitely the way to go, particularly when traveling as a family. We found plenty of breakfast items and snacks at the local Tesco. The courtyard is a welcome oasis, particularly on a sunny day. You won't go wrong renting this flat!
Perfect for us!
My wife and daughters (ages 11 and 14) and I just got back today and I felt compelled to write this review almost immediately. The flat was everything that was promised and perfect for us. The location was great, the amenities perfect, and just enough space so that we did not pay for anything more than we needed. With its proximity to three tube stops it is easy to get anywhere. The grocers are just steps away and there are plenty of food options within about three blocks. Clean and everything was in fine working [order]. The owner and his
wife made it hospitable
Perfect flat for family of 4
Perfect location close to several tube stations and just 15 minutes walk from Oxford Circus. The flat appears very fresh with modern furniture, clean and in great condition. With two bedrooms it was great for our little family with two teenagers. Greg was a fantastic host and responded to all enquiries almost immediately. Comfortable and Perfect Location
I was recently in London on a business trip with a colleague for over one week. We really enjoyed our stay at this flat. Greg was there to meet me when I arrived. The flat was as it appeared in the listing - clean, modern with all the amenities one needs for a home away from home experience. Though centrally located, close to many restaurants, shops and cafes it was still quiet in the evening so when returning to the flat we were able to rest and prepare for our busy week. Having a grocery store around the corner was also very convenient and allowed us to have a relaxed breakfast before starting the day.
I would highly recommend this flat to anyone vacationing or working in London and would definitely rent this listing again.
Great Flat, Centrally Located
Perfect in every way for our family of 4!! My wife & I, along with our 2 adult children, spent 8 nights in this wonderful flat and were very comfortable. Great central location to everything (Tube, Taxi, Uber...) in London. Quite neighborhood with a lot of pubs, cafe's, and stores within walking distance. Super clean and efficient flat easily accommodated our family of 4. We kept pinching ourselves that we found such a great flat in a great location - all for a tremendous value! Your search is over!!
Wonderful flat in London...
Two girlfriends and myself spent 6 nights at this fabulous flat. Greg has done everything right. We were immediately at home when we arrived to a spotless, stylish and inviting home. The outdoor patio is gorgeous, however the weather wasn't so we were unable to sit outside. But just being able to look through the tall patio doors to the space was a bonus. The walk score is high, it has a warm quiet neighbourbood feeling, and there are two tube stations within a five minute walk. The owners, Greg and Lexi are lovely, and are on call for anything should you need them. It doesn't get any better than this.
Great Flat Fantastic Location
We spent two weeks and the flat was fantastic ( 3 adults). It a brilliant use of space, and the outside space is fabulous on dry sunny days or for temperature checking each day before we headed out. We spent our time traveling via either the Greater Portland St or Warren St tube stations. There is a 24 Tesco and Wine store by the Portland station, and a Sainsbury (closes early on Sunday) by the Warren station. Greg was fantastic and very accommodating as our flight kept being delayed.
Location location location
My husband, son and myself spent 9 nights at this fabulous flat.
We had never rented a vacation flat before and we were not disappointed. The owner was there to great us and answered any questions we had regarding the property and the area. The street is quiet with very little car traffic. A few nights we could hear people leaving the bar down the street but it was never a problem. It is a bar that telecasts live sporting events from all over the world. It was great because my husband and son went over one night to watch the Toronto Blue Jays. (yes, we are Canadians) The flat is very clean and well equipped with nice dishes, linens, furniture...all modern and new. I liked the fact that is was a walk up right off the street and not a high rise complex. We loved exploring the area and dining in the local restaurants. Regents Park is a short walk away and the nearby Camden market was fun. Several tube stations were all within easy walking distance. I would highly recommend this flat for anyone looking for a place to experience
the local neighbourhood flair of London.
Excellent Location, Well Equipped, Great Host
My wife and I loved our stay and this very centrally located, modern, super well equipped flat. The owner was very helpful, and was able to offer me early check in when I was exhausted from a red eye flat (and prior guest had checked out). The flat is recently remodeled, with induction oven, modern furniture, flat screen TVs everywhere, brilliant and rare outdoor patio. It's close
o everything and yet very quiet
at night. Highly recommended
The apartment has an excellent location. It is close to three different metro stations and the street is quiet. The apartment is completely new and it is charming. It has everything you could need like towels, dishwasher soap, iron, coffee, etc.. they even left a welcome surprise in the fridge :) The landlord and his wife are very nice. The terrace is super nice, you can relax after an exciting day in London! But we caught a rained week and the sofa was wet almost all the time. You could see that they put a lot of efforts in building the apartment. :) In a summary, it is an great deal.
This little flat is the perfect place to enjoy London from! It is pretty small,
but it includes everything you could possibly need. The outdoor space
makes it seem larger and we loved having an evening glass of wine/beer out there.
I would recommend this place to anyone. My husband, son (17 year old), and I enjoyed our stay immensely. Many things are within walking distance, and if not, there are plenty of Underground stations to take you to all the sites.
Whenever I'm reading reviews of places, I'm always wondering if there are restaurants and things to do within walking distance of the place. I'm happy to report that if you stay here, you'll find everything you need. We visited 4 different pubs within a few blocks. Our 17 year old was happy to find that he could have a beer with us as long as the pub served food (otherwise you must be 18). All the pub food was decent, and the boys especially enjoyed the classic big English breakfast.
Here are some of the things we did:
We began with a double-decker bus tour. Definitely worth it!
Hop on and hop off, plus get a feel for where things are.
Marylebone Area: within walking distance.
Lots of shops and places to grab a bite. Fun people watching!!
Protbello Road Market in Notting Hill, a short Tube ride away.
Great deals and yummy food booths.
Finally, you're going to love Greg the owner. He met us when we arrived (a bit early due to our international flight, thanks Greg!) and made sure we knew how to work the appliances etc. He also provides some great advice and where to eat etc.
What a location!!
We really enjoyed our stay at Greg's flat. His wife was waiting to meet us when we arrived and showed us around the flat. There were 3 of us and we had plenty of room to relax in between taking the sights. The location is convenient to a few different tube stations and West End sights are walkable.
This was the most perfect flat in every way! Sparkling clean, with big folding glass doors that open onto a lovely patio where you can sit out (if it's not raining) and eat your breakfast. On a quiet street with great cafes. An easy walk, through a lovely square, to the Warren St. tube station. The owners were so nice and provided little extras like milk, juice, and dessert in the fridge.
Could not have been better!
